it’s amazing what a girl can create with 20 vintage national geographic magazines, some scissors, and a scanner. i really like collages. i don’t know why i ever stopped making them.

this is actually based on a photo of me, but i think i look much better as a nondescript minimalistic illustration.

i can’t tell if this version adds to the image or takes away from it. i think the simplicity and blocks of colors add a childlike feel to it, which i enjoy.

not sure when or why i made this, but my friend shelby said she likes it so it’s staying up.

this was my attempt at capturing dimension and liquid in a wine glass. it’s mediocre, but not awful for my first attempt.
